A Sure Thing
Getcha popcorn ready

What I want from Social Journalism, and Some Random Thoughts.

  • I had a blog last year on a different site for another course, and I enjoyed writing on it. In the end laziness and procrastination kept me from continuing the blog. When the course was finished with so was my not so legendary blog. I’m not sure if this time around it will be any different. I hope to get a lot out of this Social Journalism course, I believe that this may be the future for journalists so I want to learn as much as I can. I hope to learn how to upload some videos, or some of my audio so I can show my work to a wider audience. The more technical skills that I obtain from this course the better.
  • So I am all about Jetman, for those of you who don’t know what this is, search for it on facebook and you’ll be hooked. This game takes me to a higher place and I feel like I am the “Jetman”. Every time my Jetman crashes I feel like I’m getting kicked in the nuts, but then the game resets and I am free to fly again.
  • Nick Jameson is a 9th year journalism student, seems like a decent guy but one thing about him boggles my mind: the man always pops his collar. I’ve formed several theories on why the collar always remains popped.
    • Theory 1: Far too much starch in the guys clothes.
    • Theory 2: He is self conscious about his neck and hides it with his popped collar.
    • Theory 3: Nick is a bargain hunter, and buys shirts with faulty collars that always remain erected, saving himself plenty of money.
    • Theory 4: Nick walks very fast, so the breeze that he causes when walking creates lift pushing his collar to an upright position.

Thats it, Until next time, Don’t Stop Believing.
